The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Colonel Dana L. Thank you.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Ginger and the family in the loss of Tommy. I have truly enjoyed my relationship with Tommy for the past 11 years and the past 10 years as my brother-in-law. He was always full of stories that interested me greatly and a wealth of knowledge. We shared some special times together. Buddy and I will miss him.

Condolence: The Colonel was a sweet person and loved by me and my whole family. He was a family friend for many years. His family & friends will miss him immensely.

My granddaughter, Olivia, loved to visit him at Ginger's and she liked to play nurse putting eyedrops in his eyes. He was a very patient person with her!!!!!

Condolence From: Your Neighbor
Condolence: Please allow me to express my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I hope that you will find comfort in the real hope that the Bible gives of being reunited with your loved one again. In the Bible at John 5:28, 29 it reads, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.". The Bible there promises that your loved one will come back to life again in the resurrection. (Acts 24:15) The Bible also promises that soon death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3, 4) I encourage you to visit for more information about this wonderful hope.

Condolence From: Mary Crowe
Condolence: Ginger, Ginnifer Mattera is my sister. I met Tommy at my sister's house in Chesapeake Va. I know how much she loved your mother Barbara when she helped take care of her. She also loved your father and would do anything to help him when he lived in Chesapeake and also once he moved to live with you. I know Ginnifer will miss him dearly as he meant so much to her. The girls did think of him as grandpa. My condolences to you and your family. God Bless. Mary Crowe.
