Richard Riker Jr., 74, of Bracey, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012. He was the son of the late Richard Riker Sr., and Hazel Benedict Riker. Mr. Riker retired from the United States Navy and Civil Service at Defense General Supply. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3204 of Virginia Beach, South Hill American Legion Post #79, NRA, AARP, and Student of “King Daddy” Wings Trucking. Mr. Riker is survived by his wife, Judi Riker; five children, Margaret Fulgam and husband, Sam of Virginia Beach, Richard Riker III., and wife, Suzanne of Mechanicsville, Robin Greene and husband, Jon of Chesapeake, Rhonda Riker and husband, Sean of Virginia Beach, Kristina Flack and husband, Donny of Dinwiddie; sixteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Military Honors will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in the Colonial Heights, Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. The family will receive friends following Military Honors until 5:00 p.m. Interment Private.
