Adelaide Bulifant

Adelaide C. Bulifant 88 of Colonial Heights, native of Ettrick, passed away Saturday December 13, 2014. She was born January 28, 1926 to the late Harvey and Susie West Clark, and was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Paul Bulifant Jr. Ms. Bulifant was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Paul A. Bulifant and wife, Lesley of Colonial Heights; a daughter, Deborah B. Hoyle and husband, Larry of Louisa; grandchildren, Christa B. Gibbons and husband, Ryan, Matthew E. Bulifant and wife; Andrea, Ashley H. Sanders and husband, Nick, Aaron Hoyle, Steven M. Bulifant and wife Elise, Allison Hoyle, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 17, 2014 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Mike Murray, the Reverend Dr. Andrew Brockelman, and the Reverend Dr. Larry Hoyle officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service on Wednesday.
