Alan Weaver

Alan Dale Weaver, age 51, died Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1959 to Nancy Cliborne Boswell and Hubert Lee Weaver, Jr. Alan was preceded by his beloved grandfather, Giles A. Cliborne, his grandmother, Agnes H. Cliborne, and his aunt, Agnes Cliborne Harrison. He was a member of Aldersgate Independent Methodist Church and attended the Virginia School for the Deaf in Staunton, Virginia and the Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D. C. Alan is survived by his mother, Nancy Cliborne Boswell, and stepfather, Charles A. Boswell of Colonial Heights; his father, Hubert Lee Weaver, Jr. of Crewe; his beloved cousin, Teresa L. Browder who was like his sister and her companion, Michael Smith; two brothers, Lee Weaver of Shelby, North Carolina and Larry C. Weaver (Mary Beth) of Colonial Heights; one sister, Lynette Faye Ellis of Chesterfield County; one nephew, Maurice Ellis of Farmville; four nieces, Jodi Weaver of North Carolina, Crystal and Brandy Weaver of Colonial Heights, Claudia and Raven Ellis of Chesterfield County; one great nephew, Brandon Weaver of North Carolina; two aunts, Ruth Cliborne Campbell and Joyce Cliborne Craddock of Martinsville; one uncle, LeRoy Harrison of Chesterfield; half sister, Robin Weaver Lam and her children, Dustin and Danielle of Crew; half sister, Elizabeth Weaver Parrish (Shawn) and there children, Katelyn and Shawn Jr.; four stepsisters; one stepbrother; and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 2460 County Drive, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with the Reverend Jonathan Jackson officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church. The Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
