Albert G. Riddle Sr., 79, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012. He was a native of Chesterfield County, and the son of the late Ralph and Dorothy Walker Riddle, and the widower of Helen D. Riddle. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of Monumental Baptist Church in Petersburg. Mr. Riddle is survived by six children, Cynthia Stech of Prince George, Albert Riddle, Jr. and wife, Lori of Chesterfield, Richard Riddle of Chester, Ronald Riddle of Colonial Heights, Donna Smith and husband, Clayton of Colonial Heights, and Sandra Olmeda and husband, Manuel of Chester; sister, Carolyn Pilout of Prince George; twelve grandchildren, Jeff Stech, Mandy Davis, Olivia Riddle, Kyle Riddle, Crystal Riddle, Stephen Riddle, Belinda Riddle, Benji Smith, Christopher Smith, Stephanie Hammons, Nichole Olmeda, and Jennifer Olmeda; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Monumental Baptist Church, 2925 South Crater Road, Petersburg with the Reverend Barry Ginn officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with military honors. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday evening, March 23, 2012 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
