Alfred Elliot

MSG USA (Ret) Alfred James Elliot, 76, of Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in New York, he was the son of the late, Arthur L. and Nora Lenahan Elliot. Mr. Elliot was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Army with twenty six years of service, and was a team leader for Southside Training Center for sixteen years. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Dinwiddie, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Anne K. Elliot; a daughter, Annemarie E. Johnson of Prince George; a son, Chris W. Elliot of Ashburn, Virginia; a granddaughter, Jessica A. Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Christina M. Mahdavi of California. A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 in St. John's Catholic Church, 7215 Squirrel Level Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805 with the Father Joe Pham, Celebrant. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road.
