Alice Browning

Alice Atkinson Browning, 93, of Carson died Saturday, May 14, 2011 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Linda Mayes Atkinson and James Atkinson Jr. and was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman F. Browning, Sr. and daughter, Anne B. Mosley. Survivors include her son, Freeman F. Browning Jr. and wife, Sandra of Carson; two daughters, Helen B. Wilkerson and husband, Lewis of Keysville, and Irene B. Trogdon of Carson; grandchildren, Debbie Moody, Dawn Moore, Carl Albright Jr. and wife, Pat, Earl Albright, David Mosley, Dana Mosley and wife, Lynn, Ricky Mills and wife, Marisa, Janet Duncan, Heath Browning and wife, Melanie, Tracy Dorgan and husband, Martin; great-grandchildren, Michael Mosley, Timothy Mosley, Ethan Browning, Ryan Mills, Rachael Mills, Cody Moore, Kaiti Moore, Cindy Schurr, Suzanne Piper, Candi Nugent, Kayla Christiansen, Lexy Ward, and Randi Maldonado; and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Monumental Baptist Church, 2925 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Va. 23805 with the Reverend Barry Ginn officiating. Interment Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road 23805.
