Alice Farris

Alice Mae Parrish Farris, 94, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Born on January 30, 1923 in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Frank H. and Sadie King Parrish; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Farris. Mrs. Farris is survived by her two daughters, Diane F. Andrews and Debbie F. Robertson and husband, Johnny; two granddaughters, Erin R. Neuman and husband, Patrick and Amanda Hinnant and husband, Ray; and four great-grandchildren, Mason and Sadie Neuman and Liam and Jude Hinnant. The family would like to thank a loving friend and caregiver, Evendia Bailey for her many years of devotion. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA with the Rev. Alexis Fathbruckner, officiating. The family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to the American Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Cox Rd., Suite 130, Glen Allen, VA 23060 in memory of Mrs. Farris.
