Alice Hierholzer

Alice T. "Pat" Hierholzer, 76, of Colonial Heights, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Claude A. and Gertrude Saunders Thomas, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Lynn Bennett and a sister, Jean Zimmerman. Pat was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church, Colonial Heights. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Hierholzer; daughters, Patricia L. Holt, Trudi M. Hierholzer-Johnson, Roberta L. Lipford; grandchildren, Tammy, Bree, James Rebecca, Jeremy, Stefani, Robert and Jacob; two great-grandchildren, Matilyn and Ariana; and her sister, Ann Marie Thomas Smith. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 in the Swift Creek Baptist Church, 18510 Branders Bridge Road, Colonial Heights with the Reverend Dr. Steve Felker officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends from to 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Swift Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
