Alice Holt

Alice Lucille Holt 93, of Matoaca died Sunday November 23, 2008 at her residence. She was a life long resident of Matoaca, and was the daughter of the late, Ralph N, and Kate Green Holt. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Rachel E. Holt. Miss. Holt retired from Civil Service at Fort Lee. She was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church since the age of 14. Miss. Holt is survived by several cousins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 A.M. November 26, 2008 at Matoaca Baptist Church 6409 River Road Petersburg, Virginia 23803, with the Rev. Donald Joyner and Dr. James Birkitt officiating. Interment East Matoaca Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lottie Moon Missionary fund at Matoaca Baptist Church. Many thanks to her caregivers and friends.
