Alice Suter

Alice Lucille Suter, 86 of Richmond and a former resident of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by parents, William E. and Dora Skelton Bobbitt, and her husband, Harold Lee Suter, her son, Eric and wife Charlene Suter. She was a member of Seventh Street Christian Church (DOC) in Richmond and was a former and founding member of Colonial Christian Church in Colonial Heights. She was active with the social committee of her residential complex and with the reunions of the USS Cabot Association. She is survived by her son, Mark Suter and wife, Karen of Richmond, a granddaughter, Allison Rouse and husband, Brian of Chesterfield and a great granddaughter, Hannah Rouse, great grandson, Cooper Rouse. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 20, 2017 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of The E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with The Rev. Rachel May officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to service on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
