Allan Cunningham

Allan Highland Cunningham, 78, of Colonial Heights, died Monday, January 25, 2009 at McGuire Veterans Hospital. He was the son of the late Highland Cunningham and Leone M Johnson Cunningham. Allan was retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the Colonial Heights American Legion Post #284, Colonial Heights Senior Golf Association, and was an avid reader. Mr. Cunningham is survived by his wife, Tatsuko M. (Cathy) Cunningham. A private memorial service will be held at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
