Allen Ehmke

Allen Rudolph Ehmke, 80, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on Monday February 1, 2010 at his residence. He was the son of the late Rudolph and Verona Marinko Ehmke. Mr. Ehmke was retired from the U.S. Army with over 23 years of service, and retired from Civil Service. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Lydia L. Ehmke; a son, Roy K. Ehmke and his wife Sue of Claremont, Virginia, a sister Donna Maki of Brantwood, Wisconsin; grandchildren Corey Ehmke and his wife Lisa, Miranda Ehmke; and a great granddaughter, Lydia Ehmke all of Berwyn Illinois. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Friday February 5, 2010, at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home & Crematory 3935 South Crater Rd 23805. Interment to follow at 2:00 P.M. at Saint Anne Cemetery Claremont , Virginia The family will receive at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
