Allen Wayne Morrison

Allen Wayne Morrison, 60, of Prince George passed away peacefully on Sunday September 10, 2023. Born on August 20, 1963, he was the son of Doratha E. Morrison and the late Ronald K. Morrison and was preceded in death by his father-in-law, John H. Neely Sr.  He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Faye Morrison; children, Ellen Margaret Morrison, Shannon Marie Morrison, Jessica Dawn Bray, Ray Gore Jr., Ralph Lloyd Gore; Grandchildren, Caleb Andrew Bray, Jacob Aaron Bray, Ethan Lee Gore, William Wilgus, Adam Joshua Alvarado, Thaxton Allen Jose Alvarado; brother, Mark R. Morrison Sr.; nephew, Mark R. Morrison Jr.; nieces, Angela Tucker, Kayla Morrison; Mother-in-law, Margaret L. Neely; several aunts and uncles; several cousins; several brothers-in-law; several sisters-in-law; great-nieces and great- nephews, Christoper, Payton, Aidyn, Kinslei, Alexus, Kaleigh, Izaiah. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Oaklawn Baptist Church 7925 Hickory Road, South Chesterfield, Virginia 23803. Internment will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at  Appomattox Cemetery 703 21^st Avenue, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
