Alma Michael

Alma Webb Michael, 96, of Matoaca, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born July 4, 1916 to the late Luther and Patricia Harrell Webb and was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Barnes Michael; daughter, Judy P. Treaster; and two brothers, Marvin Webb and Otis Webb. Mrs. Michael was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Durwood W. Michael of Matoaca; granddaughter, Tracy Cochran of Easley South Carolina; two great grandchildren, Kassie Cochran, Michael Cochran; brothers; Carroll and Shelton Webb; and sister, Eula Miller. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Donald Joyner officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday prior to the service.
