Alma Reekes

Alma Reekes, 83, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017. She was born July 27, 1934 to the late Harvey and Myrtle McRaw Vaughn and was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Thomas Reeks Jr. Mrs. Reekes retired from Phillip Morris and was a member of the OES Alpha Chapter #1. She is survived by her son Donald K. Reekes and wife, Wendy J. Reekes of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Benjamin Reekes and wife Lauren of Chesterfield, Joshua Thomas Reekes and fiancé, Malory Stevens of Chesterfield, Meghan Nichole Reekes of Chesterfield, Devin A. Parker of Chesterfield; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Keith Reekes, Noah Paul Reekes. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia with the Reverend Jason Elmore officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Fire and EMS at P.O.
