Alma Stigall

Alma Burnette Stigall, 89, of Matoaca passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at her residence. Born October 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fred Garland and Eliza Whitt Burnette. Mrs. Stigall was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Diane S. Cumbie of Matoaca, Barbara S. Millard of Chesterfield, Paige Stigall of Glen Allen, Beth S. Dowdy of Chesterfield; twin sister, Thelma B. Floyd of Matoaca; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Matoaca Baptist Church, 6409 River Rd, Matoaca, Virginia 23803, with Pastor Donald Joyner officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10-11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Matoaca Baptist Church. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com
