Alverda Seymour

Alverda Ann "Peanut" LaBarge Seymour, 68, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Seymour was born in Plattsburgh, New York to the late Amos and Doris LaDue LaBarge, and was the widow of George R. Seymour Sr. who passed in January of this year. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Angeline LaBarge. Mrs. Seymour is survived by a daughter, Julie A. Miller of Prince George; three sons, George R. Seymour Jr. of Orlando, Florida, Steven M. Seymour of Matoaca, Virginia, and Mark Seymour and wife, Stephanie of Charles City, Virginia; eleven grandchildren; six brothers, John, Earl, Carl, Scott, Raymond and Keith LaBarge; sisters, Joanne Seymour and Linda Brown all of Plattsburg, and Shelly Slocum of Wingdale, New York. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
