Alvin Davis

Alvin N. Davis, 83 of Chesterfield, passed away Saturday December 28, 2013 at the McGuire Veterans Hospital. He was born June 17, 1930 to the late David Martin Davis and the late Leona Galloupe Davis and was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth P. Davis. Mr. Davis was a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by a brother Jim Davis, two sons Martin F. Davis, Gregory W. Davis wife Tammy, two daughters Connie Mallett, Jean Ashton and husband Danny, grandsons Keith Ross and wife Sa, Timothy Ashton and wife Tiffany, Christopher Davis, Steven Davis, granddaughters Robyn Bodenhamer, Sara Rose and husband Kyle, great-grandchildren Caitlyn, Will, Lexi, Makayla, Hayden, and a special sister- in-law Edith Carey. The family would like to thank the staff of Sitter & Barfoot Veterans Care Center for their loving care during Mr. Davis' final months. The family will receive friends Thursday January 2, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
