Andrea Henna

Andrea Lee Henna led a spirited , vibrant life and passed away with her unborn daughter, Carmela Jo Young, on September 9, 2015. She began life on December 29, 1976 in Dover AFB, DE. Andrea was the daughter of Military parents and lived in Delaware, South Korea, Maryland, Colorado, and finally in Virginia. Andrea graduated from Eaglecrest High School, Centennial , CO in 1994 and later earned her B.S. in Clinical Lab Sciences in 2005 from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) . She loved her job as a Medical Technologist in Microbiology & Immunology at VCU Medical Center. She was passionate about her Catholic faith and devoted time and talent as a messenger of Christ. She was above all an amazing mother of two wonderful sons. Andrea is survived by her husband, Jeremy Young: sons, Nathaniel (8) and Henry (7) Young; parents, Daisy and Dallas Henna; sister, Jaime Henna; Maternal grandmother, Francisca Delorise; numerous relatives and friends. Her wonderful spirit, joy, and talents will be celebrated at visitations on Friday, September 18, 2015 (6:00-8:00 p.m.) and Saturday, September 19, 2015 (10:00-11:00 a.m.) at St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, VA. 23834. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Lou Ruoff, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church in honor of Andrea. Arrangements by the E.
