Angela C. Marshall, beloved wife of Sean Marshall, passed away on Thursday August 15, 2013 after a lengthy, heroic battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta J. Flaim in 1997. Angela was born in Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, TX on March 1, 1969 and traveled extensively with her AF family, visiting Mexico, living in Nebraska, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Iceland. She also vacationed in Wiesbaden, GE and flew round trip from Iceland to New Jersey before she was five years old. She finally settled in Virginia in 1978 with her family. After graduation from Prince George High School in 1987, she attended John Tyler College, Richard Bland College, and St. Leo University before accepting a position with Mid-Atlantic Mortgage Co. She was employed as a Loan Underwriter with Fulton Financial Company of Richmond, VA prior to her medical retirement in October 2012. Angela loved boating, fishing and riding a Harley with Sean. She especially loved her Chihuahuas, Chip and Coby. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter; Amber D. Pettigrew and husband Torrey; grandson; Braden of Chesterfield, her father; Nicholas Flaim of Hampton, two sisters; Debbie L. Braskey and her husband; Jim , Shellie R. Berger; a brother; Nick S. Flaim plus numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She received much appreciated support from her loving father-in-law; Dick Marshall and his wife Helen Marshall throughout her illness. A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday August 19, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
