Anna Kelly

Anna Mae Kelly, 97, of Colonial Heights passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was born in New Hampshire to the late Michael and Catherine Usher Kelly on June 3, 1921. Ms. Kelly was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Petersburg and was retired from Bellows Falls Trust in Vermont. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but her greatest loves were music and playing the organ. She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Kelly Cray; and brothers, Michael and Paul Kelly. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Lehsten Kelly; nephews, Jay Kelly (Marcella), Sean Kelly (Lisa), Michael Kelly (Linda), and James Kelly (Jane); nieces, Megan Kelly Wible (Christopher), Colleen Kelly Riggs (Christopher), Susan Kelly Latham (Brian), and Kathleen Cray Durham (Steven); and a number of other nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 151 W. Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. Visitation will be held at the church an hour prior to Mass. Arrangements made by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Florida 33607.
