Anna Mendoza

Anna A. K. Mendoza, 87, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018. Born April 23, 1931, she was the daughter to the late Adolph and Elsa Lenk Wendt. She worked as a retail sales worker but loved her job as a mother and prided herself on her availability to her family. She is survived by four children, Glenn, Mary, Jimmy, and Judy; eight grandchildren, Glenn Jr., Reneé, David, Kimberly, Kathy, Melissa, Rachel, and Alison; 14 great-grandchildren, Blake, Alex, Abby, Jacob, James, Hunter, Emily, Jake, Selena, Silas, Ruby, Anessa, Kinzie, and Liddy; and numerous other extended family. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with the Reverends James and Didi Gray officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
