Anna Rudacille Sirles 79, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was born July 23, 1935 in Warren County, Virginia to the late W. Fred Rudacille and Mary Neville Jones Mcleod and was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda W. Pickeral, brother Albert William Rudacille and wife, Roberta, nephew, Harold Grayson Williamson, niece, Brenda Williamson Gotzmer, and a great nephew, Chris Williamson. Mrs. Sirles was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Swift Creek Ward in Colonial Heights, the Colonial Heights Library Book Club, and the Colonial Heights Senior Citizens Club. She retired after 20 years of service as a Registered Nurse from Southside Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Sirles is survived by her husband, Wilbur "Rusty" Sirles; children, Denise Sirles Matney, David Sirles; grandchildren, Nicole Matney Boehm and husband, Nathan, Eric Matney, Allison Wolfrey; great-grandchildren, Taylor Reese Boehm, Ashlynn Payton Boehm; brother in-law, John J. Pickeral Jr.; nieces, Vickie Rudacille, Sue Ritenour and Judy Williamson,. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Swift Creek Ward Building, 501 Compton Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Bishop Mike Mabe officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Colonial Heights Department of Recreation and Parks 901 Meridian Avenues Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
