Anne Hallman

Anne Joyce Hallman, 87, a native of Australia, and a resident of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hallman was the daughter of the late Walter and Phyllis Elizabeth Lord, the widow of Lt. Col. Thomas Jefferson Hallman Sr., and was preceded in death by a son, Maj. Thomas J. Hallman Jr. Survivors include four sons, Walter R. Hallman and wife, Trudi of Las Vegas, Robert L. Hallman and wife, Mary Ann of Prince George, William R. Hallman of Petersburg, and Francis E. Hallman of Varina; three grandchildren, Robert Thomas Hallman, Christina Rae Hallman, and Catherine Elizabeth Hallman; two great-grandchildren, Alexander T. Hallman, and Logan B.. Hallman. Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia at a later date. Arrangements by the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road.
