Anne M. Hingerty, 86, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at her residence. Born in Geisweid, Germany she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Maria Heimbach Kalle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis J. Hingerty Jr., and a granddaughter, Erin Hingerty. Mrs. Hingerty was a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Hopewell, and enjoyed playing Bingo at the Colonial Heights American Legion and the Colonial Heights Moose Lodge. She is survived by two sons, Walter T. Hingerty and wife, Sheila of Colonial Heights, and Michael B. Hingerty and wife, Jennifer Hernandez of Berkley, California; two grandsons, Erik Hingerty of Sacramento, California, and Brian Hingerty of Berkley, California. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
