Annette Gauldin

Annette Bishop Gauldin, 74, of Dinwiddie, passed away Saturday July 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born on September 4, 1938 in Petersburg to the late Arthur Thomas and Margaret Jones Bishop. She was preceded in death by her husband David Penn Gauldin. Mrs. Gualdin was a retired Program Support Technician with the Commonwealth of Virginia. She was a member of Ocran United Methodist Church, a former choir member and a member of the Day Circle of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Gauldin is survived by a daughter Wanda G. Havens, son Thomas A. Havens, step- sons David K. Gauldin; Gary T. Gauldin, Michael B. Gauldin, eight grandchildren, Lance Campbell, Tiffany Brown, Thomas Havens Jr., Christina Gauldin, Adam Gauldin, Bryant Gauldin, Ryan Gauldin, Patrick Gauldin, great-grandchildren, Clay, Noah, Victor, Alex, Allyson, Toney, Lacey and Zoe, sister Gladys Perkinson, and nephew Robert Perkinson. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 18, 2013 in Ocran United Methodist Church 20221 Cox Road, Sutherland, VA 23885 with the Reverend Larry House officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 17, 2013 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Ocran United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD. 21741. Funeral arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
