Annie Allen

Annie Maxine Gohn Allen, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday April 19, 2013. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dirvard L. and Lottie Nethery Adkins; Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband's Charles H. Gohn Sr., and Garland Allen, a sister Mary Louise Winn-Lister. She was a member of the Salvation Army and the Colonial Heights V. F.W. Post 2239. Survivors include her sons Charles H. Gohn Jr., and wife Robin of Oak Harbor, Washington, Steven V. Gohn and wife Pamela of Williamsburg, Virginia, grandchildren, Carrie Roldan and husband Larry, Jamie Jackson and husband Mike, Sarah Lewis and husband Matt, great-grandchildren, Brayden, Carter, Sunny, Taeyah, sister, Beulah Elizabeth Moline and husband Floyd, niece, Michelle Daley. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013, in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
