Anthony King

Anthony Michael "Tony" King, 69, of Colonial Heights passed away Friday, July 9, 2010 at Southside regional Medial Center, Petersburg after a courageous battle against cancer. He was the son of the late Jesse Alvin and Ester Virginia Uzzell, Sr. and had been employed in the tree trimming service. He was preceded in death by a sister Barbara J. Uzzell. Mr. King is survived by two daughters; Sylvia Marie King of OK, and Jeanette Irene Wright Howerton of McKenney; two brothers, Jesse A Uzzell, Jr and William A. Uzzell both of Ivor; ex-spouse and friend, Hope Marie Inman of OK; close special friend Joe Daniel; and Charles Meeks of Dinwiddie, who was like a son. Services will be private.
