Arnold Wrenn

July 13, 1925 — March 3, 2019

Arnold Jackson "Jack" Wrenn, 93, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2019. He was born in Bluefield, Virginia to the late Edward and Lillian Wrenn on July 13, 1925. Mr. Wrenn served his country in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. He was also a member of Meridian Masonic Lodge #284, Richmond. He was preceded in death by his wives, Betty Joan Wrenn and Betty Lou Wrenn. He is survived by his children, Mickey Lee Thomas of Chester, Sandra K. Peters of Colonial Heights, Jackie C. Wrenn of Alabama, Deborah Sue Neal of Colonial Heights and Michael D. Wrenn of Florida; stepdaughter, Theresa H. Smith of Petersburg; stepson, John David Henderson of Hopewell; twelve grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Peggy Sheppard and to Crater Community Hospice for their loving care. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends beginning an hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Missionary Fund.
