Aubrey E. Houston, 83, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Born in Richmond, Virginia on March 7, 1937, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Florence Miles Houston, and was preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters.
Mr. Houston proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was the owner of Houston’s Chevron in Colonial Heights for 15 years, and a lover of music.
He is survived by his sons, Richard M. Sadler (Mary) of Dinwiddie and Daryl Houston (Melanie) of Chester; stepchildren, Chris and Reneé; grandchildren, Kayla, Chase, Kristal, and Kenny; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831. His remains will rest from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
