Audrey Lynne Persinger

Audrey Lynne Persinger, 66, of South Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.  Born on December 17, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Lewis and Edith Wilmouth. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents; brother, Steve Lewis; nephew, Dylan Lewis; and fur babies, Doogle and Callie.

Audrey was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. She was an avid sports fan – she loved NASCAR, football, baseball, and rooted for the Washington Football team and the Tar Heels. She also greatly enjoyed her vacation time with family, especially enjoying the beach. She leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, Charles “Charlie” Persinger; daughters, Niki Powell (Steve), Courtney Metzger (Dan), and Jessica Campbell (Jeremiah); brother, Tim Lewis (Loretta); sisters, Angel Faulkner, and Dian Lewis; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and fur babies, Ajax, Kit, and Sallie.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Swift Creek Baptist Church, 18510 Branders Bridge Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. The family will receive friends an prior hour before the service at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Swift Creek Baptist Church, 18510 Branders Bridge Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
