Barbara Dickerson

Barbara Gwaltney Dickerson, 77, of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 at Chippenham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mildred Tudor Gwaltney. Mrs. Dickerson was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, John A. Moniuszko of Petersburg, David E. Dickerson and wife, Lynette of Colonial Heights, and Dwayne K. Dickerson and fiancée, Niki of Sandston; two grandchildren, Sara Dickerson of Colonial Heights and Ryan Dickerson of Sandston; and a brother, Graham L. Gwaltney and wife, Carolyn of Colonial Heights. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Mike Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
