Barbara Elaine Moore

Barbara Elaine Moore, 72, of Petersburg, VA, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. Born in Chesterfield, VA on December 28, 1951, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice Dieterich Hopson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell A. Will, Jr.

Barbara was a loving homemaker who had a knack for crafting; she spent countless hours crocheting, cross-stitching, coloring, and tackling DIY projects. She loved playing games on her phone, watching TV, and could listen to just about any kind of music. She was also an avid Steelers and NASCAR fan, and enjoyed watching both sports.

She is survived by her son, Kevin R. Will (Melissa); daughter, Elizabeth E. Will; grandchildren, Brianna A. Will, Hayden R. Will, and Camden L. Will; significant other, James R. Moore; siblings, Peggy Sickles (Ronald), Billy Hopson (Bonnie), Sandra Hopson-Boatright, and Debbie Shafer (Rob); and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834.
