Barbara Francis

Barbara Lou Inge Francis, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Retreat Hospital. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late J. Edward and Martha Clanton Inge, and the widow of Harold Raymond Francis Sr. Mrs. Francis was preceded in death by a brother, J.E. "Toby" Inge. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela F. Walter of Prince George, and Kimberly F. Smith and husband, Greg of Smithburg, Maryland; two sons, William E. James Jr. and wife, Michelle of Chesterfield, and Harold R. Francis Jr. and wife, Kay B. of Colonial Heights; ten grandchildren, Bill, Mike, Jennifer, Trey, Nicholas, Hannah, Katie, Evelyn, Rocco and Lindsey; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 3, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with Reverend Beverly Nelan officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
