Barbara Koliadko

Barbara Mace Koliadko, 85, of Yale passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Born January 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Gladys Edwards Mace, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Michael Koliadko, Sr.; and sisters, Madeline Hevener and Janet Wacker. Barbara was a member of Yale Seventh-day Adventist Church for over 60 years, where she served as a Deaconess. She was very crafty as she loved refinishing old furniture, wallpapering and painting. She is survived by her children, Susan Shull and husband, Ricky, Kathy Frederick and husband, Tim, Cindy Arellano and husband, Chuck, Alan Koliadko and fiancée, Judy, Andy Koliadko, Daniel Michael Koliadko, Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, with another on the way; four sisters, Betty Hevener and husband, Lacy, Alice Thomas and husband, Dick, Mary Collins and husband, Dickie, June Bustin and husband, Fill; brother, Johnny Mace and wife, Jan; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. A funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23805. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Yale Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery, 19155 Courthouse Road, Yale, Virginia 23897. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, March 13, 2019 at the funeral home.
