Barbara Moores

Barbara Elizabeth Moores, 86, of Colonial Heights passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at the Dunlop House. She was born October 26, 1928 to the late Henry F. and Elizabeth A. Nugent, and was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward (Sonny) Moores; six brothers, and three sisters. Mrs. Moores was a retired Operator with C & P Telephone. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Lyman; a very special niece, Allison Marchiano; and numerous other nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, Prince George, Virginia 23805 with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
