Barbara Thibault

Barbara Kainhofer Thibault, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Born in Mining, Austria she was the daughter of the late Ludwig and Ana Kainhofer; and was also preceded in death by her husband, CSM Charles R. Thibault (Ret); a daughter, Sherry Denise Oliver; a son, Richard Doran Farley; and her constant loving companion pet, Roxie. Mrs. Thibault was a longtime member of St. Ann Catholic Church and had worked at the Fort Lee Officer's Club for over 30 years. She enjoyed working in her garden, spending time at the beach and being outdoors. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a loving wife, mother and Oma. Mrs. Thibault is survived by two sons, Alan C. Thibault and wife, Donna of Midlothian, VA and Neal R. Thibault and wife, Brenda of Winchester, VA; one daughter, Sabrina T. Moore of Colonial Heights, VA; three grandchildren, Ryan N. Thibault and wife, Julia of Leesburg, VA, Megan A. Thibault of Winchester, VA and Anna D. Moore of Colonial Heights, VA; many other loving family members in Austria and Canada. A funeral mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, with Fr. Lou Ruoff, celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. The family is being served by The E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
