Barbara Weeks

Barbara Ann Holt Weeks, 63, wife of Reverend Dr. William Weeks, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home. Barbara Ann was born June 24, 1948 in Petersburg to the late William Henry and Virginia Rose Holt. She grew up in Colonial Heights, graduating from Colonial Heights High School and Calvary Baptist College. Barbara was a transcriptionist with Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC for 10 years, having lived in the Burlington and High Point area for 17 years. She also had previously lived in Venice and Naples, Florida. She loved her cats, and loved to read and fish. Funeral services will be 2PM Monday, June 18, 2012 in the chapel at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 PM Sunday at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home. On Tuesday, June 19, 2012 the family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home in Colonial Heights. Committal services at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg will immediately follow the visitation. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Weeks is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Jessica Weeks of Winston-Salem, NC.
