Barney Woodlief

Barney Kent Woodlief, 63, of Petersburg, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center.  He was born February 27, 1958 to the late Burley McGee and Lois Hicks Woodlief, and was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Lee Blalock. Barney is survived by two brothers, L.L. Blalock and Wade Woodlief; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 West Hundred Road, Chester Virginia 23831 with the Reverend David Prather officiating.
