Beauford Ashworth

Beauford C. Ashworth, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. He was the son of the late Charles and Martie Denson Ashworth. Mr. Ashworth is survived by his wife Barbara J. Ashworth, four sons, Ed Miles and wife Teresa of New Church, Virginia, David Miles and wife Lila of New York, Jody Ashworth of Colonial Heights, Ricky Ashworth and wife Denise of Richmond, six grandchildren, Rodney, Greg, Kayleigh, Ross, Hope, Stevie, great-grandchildren, Claudia, Vivian, Dillon, Blake, Josh, Emily, two sisters Irene Johnson and husband Tom of Waverly, Jeanne Phibbs and husband David of Colonial Heights, two brothers Tommy Ashworth and wife Nadine of Hopewell, Jerry Ashworth. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday March 8, 2013 in Wesley United Methodist Church 3701 Conduit Road Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Deborah Fair and the Reverend Charles Crocker officiating. Interment to follow in Bermuda Memorial Park Enon, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at church.
