Bert Gary Stevens, 76, of Prince George, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was the son of the late Bert W. and Ruble Nash Stevens. Mr. Stevens was a member of Gary's United Methodist Church, a retired long-haul truck driver, and a United States Air Force veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Valerie Bloemeke (Thomas) of North Carolina, Christine Stevens (Jerry Tarnopol) of Texas and Stephanie Stevens of Nevada; two grandsons, Trenton Simmons and Ethan Tarnopol; sisters, Teresa Stevens Byrd of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Karen Stevens Hancock (Tex) of Dublin, Virginia; numerous nieces & nephews; beloved companion, Linda L. Henson; step-daughters, Michelle Camp (Jody) and Teresa K. Smith (Mark) all of Colonial Heights; five grandchildren, J.D. Camp (Samantha), Rebecca Camp, Tiffany Camp, Ashley Smith and Danielle Smith; one great-grandson, Joseph Camp Jr.. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2018 at Gary's United Methodist Church, 13501 Sunnybrook Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805.
