Bertice Paige Williams, a cherished mother, grandmother and sister, passed away on September 14, 2023 at age 82. She was predeceased by her parents, Edmond C. Edwards and Hazel E. Livesay Edwards, her husband, Glenn S. Williams, her son, Robert M. Reinhardt Jr., her brothers, Carl Edwards and Robert Edwards and her grandson, William Kyle III. Bertice was a devoted member of West End Baptist Church and a respected food service professional in the Petersburg Public School System and Edge Hill Supermarket. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge alongside her late husband, Glenn and a compassionate volunteer at Southside Regional Hospital. Beyond her work and service, Bertice found joy in treasure hunting at yard sales with her sister, Gloria, tending her lush floral garden and creating floral arrangements. She had a talent for painting, loved to travel and camp and never missed an opportunity to decorate her home for every holiday, spreading happiness to all who visited. She is survived by her daughters, Tamela S. R. Kyle and Connie R. Detty (husband Jason), and her son, Rodney C. Reinhardt (wife Brenda). Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her dear brother and sister, Dennis Edwards (wife Linda) and Gloria Elmore. Bertice's life was marked by her unwavering faith and dedication to helping others. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia with the Reverend Dr. Mark Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, Virginia 23834. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
