Bettie Albert

Bettie Sue "Amaw" Albert, 68, of Prince George, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at her residence. Born in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Bettie Elaine Hayberg Rupp, and the widow of Joe R. Albert. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Steinour. Bettie Sue is survived by a daughter, Tracy Albert McGregor and husband, Mike of Prince George; a son, David R. Albert and wife, Amy of Disputanta; a granddaughter (her heart), Tristan Elaine Albert; her loving companion, Roy E. Tennant Jr. of Prince George; "Granny Sue's" honorary granddaughter, Arawyn Tennant; and a brother, Terry Steinour of Gloucester County. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
