Betty Mae Arwood

Betty Mae Arwood, 71, of N. Dinwiddie, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Southside Medical Center in Petersburg. She was born August 27, 1953, to the late Bernard G. and Frances Bass Wootten, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Coleman and Jerry Fay Tyler. Betty retired after 25 years of service from Wells Fargo Bank. She is survived by her loving husband, of 51 years Bobby Arwood Sr., a son Bobby Arwood Jr., grandchildren, Matthew Rouse, Lexee Arwood, Sebastian Arwood, Isabella Arwood, one uncle, Wilson Wootten and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024, in Sunset Memorial Park 2901 West Hundred Chester, Virginia 23831. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
