Betty Christman

Betty Lou Mazza Christman, 77, of Chesterfield, formerly of Bayshore, New York, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 15, 1940 to the late Louis Napoleon and Anna Elizabeth Adams Mazza, and was the widow of Ralph D. Christman. Betty enjoyed antiques and baseball cards. She was the Owner of Dyson's Store for over 30 years and a former hairstylist. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Melissa Christman Lara (Abel); a son, Ralph D. Christman Jr.; her beloved dog, Wiggles; and numerous nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dwayne Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park Chester, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday, at the funeral home from 12:00-1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your local S.P.C.A. or your local animal shelter in memory of Betty.
