Betty Debose

Betty Ann DeBose, 79, of Carson, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021.  Born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Henry L. and Mary Simpson Ange.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin C. DeBose.

Betty retired as the Vice President of DeBose & Sons Construction Company.

She was a loving mother to Susan Glazier (Frank), Michael DeBose (Claudia), Kenneth DeBose, and Russell DeBose (Gwendolyn); grandchildren, Patricia Leary, Kristen Berry, Kayla DeBose, Terry DeBose, Brandon DeBose, and Justin DeBose; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Ashton, Clayton, Tyler, and Trey; sister, Trish McConnell; brother, Larry Ange;

numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the Mausoleum of Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.  Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
