Betty Ellis

Betty Henry Ellis, 82, formerly of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, entered in to Heaven on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the Hopewell Health Care Center. Born in Brunswick County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late David L. and Guildaroy Moore Henry, and was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Ellis. She is survived by two daughters, B.J. Hatton of Colonial Heights and Jamey DeBerry of Charlotte, North Carolina; a sister, Edna Greer of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, brothers, Tom Henry of Redondo Beach, California, Guildaroy Baker of Rocky Mount, North Carolina,. grandchildren, S.Sgt. David DeBerry, now serving in Iraq and wife Jessica, Sarah DeBerry, Matthew Branzelle, and Meredith Branzelle, great grandchildren Austin DeBerry, of Pearl Harbor Hawaii, Aiden DeBerry also of Pearl . Harbor Hawaii, and soon to arrive Braden Branzelle. Services will be private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
