Betty Gordon

Betty Morrissette Gordon, 83, of Chesterfield passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Born May 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Walter Cleveland and Katherine Versa Morrissette and was also preceded in death by her husband, Rob Roy Gordon; son, David L. Garber; and brother, James C. Morrissette. She retired from the Federal Government Service at Fort Lee, VA and was a Past President of the Colonial Heights American Legion Auxiliary Unit #284. She is survived by her son, Michael C. Garber (Cory); daughter, Kathy G. Wray (Harvey); grandchildren, Stacey M. Womack, Justin R. Clement, Matthew C. Garber; great-grandchildren, Brittany D. Wallace, Kaytlin and Kaleb Clement; and other extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in Blandford Cemetery. Mrs. Gordon’s remains will rest at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes from 10:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
