Betty Gray (King-Daniels, Broaddus) Hancock, 74, of S. Chesterfield, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018. She was born on October 10, 1944 to the late Junior Lester King and Mary Ellen Gray King in Pulaski, Virginia. She is survived by her husband, Noah Dwight Hancock; sons, Christopher Alton Daniels of Chester, and Shawn Thomas Gregory Broaddus (Carrie) of Dinwiddie; stepchildren, Beth H. Faughn of Chester, and Jason Matthew Hancock of Chester; sister, Valencia K. Verburg (Arthur) of Irvington; brother, Frederick Allen King of Chester; grandchildren, Sierra Marie Taylor Broaddus, Samantha Faith Broaddus, Skyler Christian Broaddus, Chloe Grace Broaddus, Alexa Morgan Tuck, David Logan Faughn, and Hayden Alan Faughn; and nephews, Jeffery S. Adams of Chesterfield, Shannon Allen King, and Charlie King. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VCU Massey Cancer Center, P.O.
